My CruX is rebuilt and ready to race. I couldn’t find my road derailleur and cassette so it’s still set up with MTB gearing. No matter… it’s far more capable than I am.
sweet,
I’ve been commuting to work in a car for like 8 years (just across town) and feeling guilty all along for not taking the metro or riding a bike. Then 3 weeks ago I picked up a 1977 Peugeot PX 60 for 80 euros. It’s the touring version of the famed PX10 with Reynolds 531 double butted frame that I had bought for myself as kid with paper route money I had saved up in 1974. So it was an impulsive nostalgia thing. However, it being in excellent riding condition, I was able to begin using it and fell in love with the performance of a machine of that caliber and have found myself using it daily. Now I hardly use my car and hope to begin doing some longer rides just for the fun of it. And, I’m more interested in bikes in general. Even though I got you your page via a political discussion.
cheers,
Bud
